Who We Are

Here at RiverDee we do our best to give a warm reception to anyone new.

We also want to encourage all who come and join in worship with us. We aim to be a church that shares the simple gospel message of Christ, in various ways, to as many different ages and groups of people in our locality. Here at RiverDee we encourage the people to be strong in their faith so they can reach out to others. Our vision is to enable all people to hear the good news message by word, lifestyle and action to help them respond in a positive way to that message.

We hope that God will lead you to the right church, so that you can grow and put down new roots. If this is the place where God is leading you, then let’s work together for a healthy vibrant church in our locality serving alongside other local churches to meet the needs of the community.

Vision:

Our vision is to stay true to God’s word and obey His call to share that word with those around us.

Our commitment to the community:

Community is the centre of our name, as Christ is the centre of our faith. We believe Christ will make a significant and lasting difference to every community. This will happen when the local church recognises its unique place within the surrounding community and decides to act.

Why? Because if we fail to reach the community’s needs we have failed as a church. Reaching out to everyone with the love of Christ is a biblical call for every Christian.

Who? This church has a commitment to reach all groups and ages in the surrounding area.

How? By being a positive benefit to the community, providing resources, even when it costs and there is no direct benefit to the church. Our commitment is to give into the common good of those around us. We are prepared to give time, effort, resources and personnel into this ‘commitment to the community’.
